In his shootings Philipp Schulz creates image material and prepares it in postproduction. His inventiveness and the powerful, eye-catching stylistics give his productions a certain charm that is hard to overlook. Together with other photographers and agencies he develops elaborate composings and forms the interface between vision and end product. Philipp is part of the Mateo Moém Collective, a group around the professional photographer Mathias Kniepeiss, which is dedicated to the artistic representation of different periods of time. In these projects, which consist of posed photo scenes and digital painting, he is responsible for the lighting on the set as well as for the post-processing of the resulting photos. Exhibitions of the production “Faces of Venice” found their way beyond the borders of Austria to Venice itself and New York. In addition to his passion for developing media products, Philipp is dedicated to training future media professionals: workshops at photo fairs, such as Photo+Adventure, and classes at renowned media schools in Vienna offer him a regular change in the daily routine of a professional photographer.
