Highlight Video

From 23rd to 28th June 2022 the 8th National Special Olympics Summer Games took place in Burgenland.

About 1,800 athletes, not only from Austria but also internationally, participated in 16 disciplines.

The highlight was the Torch Run. During the torch run, the Special Olympics fire is carried through the venues. The goal is to create awareness for Special Olympics and to draw attention to the games.

Felix Kirsch was on site together with Markus Groyss on two of the days and documented the spectacle.
